The Chinese call water the “element that sustains life.” All living things need water for their living. Human beings can hardly survive without water, and it has been proven that human beings can survive on water alone for some time without food. Looking closely at these pictures, one can easily see that the source of water for these communities is not clean, and not safe for drinking. It can only be used for bathing and washing. To make things worse, this pool of water is the only source of water for both humans and animals. The Fulani cattle rearers take their cattle to go and drink there. The animal will urinate and drop their dungs into the water, and humans will come and fetch that same water.Most of the villagers were at one time victims of Cholera and many water borne diseases. Honourable Philip Aruwa Gyunka came to their rescue by drilling boreholes and building concrete well for the communities concern as part of his Transformative agenda.
